Ida Bagus Oka has once traveled the world with a sketchbook, picturing his impressions on what’s outside the Bali Island. Just like the other projects of the Biji World – Biji Design is a look at the beauty of the mountain, from the distance.

Merging the deep inside knowledge of Balinese arts and crafts, the island’s tradition, ancestry, and spirituality with modern technologies and brainstormed within international community ideas. It’s a creation of what’s most beautiful in Bali: the ability to embrace the outside influence without losing its identity, pride and authenticity. It’s a culture (art, design, music, and ideas) considered as a living organism, continuing to evolve despite, but also due to the fresh grafts inserted into its body.
